Everything you want to know before we work together — answered honestly, without the tax jargon (well, mostly).

Fees & Services

Every tax situation is unique — so there's no one-size-fits-all price here. My fees depend on the complexity of your return and the forms involved. That said, here's where we start:

  • Individual Tax Returns: Starting at $200
  • Returns with rental property or a sole proprietorship (Schedule C): Starting at $350
  • Corporations and LLCs: Starting at $495

Keep in mind, I'm not just punching numbers into a form. I work to actively solve tax problems and find ways to help you keep more of what you earn.

  • Tax Filing & Advisory Services — I prepare your return and advise you on strategies to reduce your tax bill.
  • Business Formation — Thinking of starting a corporation or LLC? I can help you set that up as a legitimate way to save on taxes.
Who I Work With

Most of my clients are Registered Nurses and other healthcare professionals — Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and similar high-demand roles.

These professionals often have a layered income situation: a W-2 from their employer and 1099 income from independent contract work on the side. That combination creates a genuinely interesting (and often expensive) tax picture — and it's exactly the kind of thing I specialize in.

Many are six-figure earners who feel the full weight of the tax bill every April. I help them feel a lot better about it — legally, of course.

Absolutely. If you receive a Form 1099-NEC, work as an independent contractor, or run your own solo practice, I can help. I also work with self-employed professionals — people who wear many hats and feel the extra sting of self-employment taxes.

The common thread? You feel like you're paying too much in income taxes and you'd like someone in your corner who actually knows what they're doing. If that's you, we'll probably get along just fine.

How It Works

It's pretty painless — I designed it that way on purpose. Here's how it goes:

  1. Book a call. We start with a quick conversation so I can understand your tax situation and figure out how I can help.
  2. Get access to the Tax Portal. If we're a good fit, I'll set you up with a secure client portal. You'll get a text and email invite to create your login — no fax machines involved.
  3. Upload your documents. Use the portal to submit your tax forms. You can upload files or snap a photo right from your phone. No printer required.
  4. Review your numbers. When your return is ready, I'll walk you through it. I usually send a quick screenshot of your refund or amount due — because that's what really matters. If there's an opportunity to save more, I'll tell you.
  5. Sign, pay, and done. Once you're happy, sign electronically and pay my fee. I'll e-file everything and you'll get a notification the moment the IRS (and/or your state) accepts your return.

No traffic. No waiting rooms. No paper cuts. Just results.

One heads-up: this process runs on technology. If you'd prefer to hand over a folder of papers at a brick-and-mortar office, there are other great options out there — but that's not what I do.

A few reasons, all of which work in your favor:

  • Flexibility. I can work with you wherever you are — whether you're at home, on a night shift, or somewhere between time zones. No office = no geographic limits.
  • Your schedule matters. Many of my clients are nurses working long, irregular hours. Asking them to drive to an office after a 12-hour shift just to watch me type? That's not a great use of anyone's time.
  • Lower overhead, better value. I don't pay rent on a big office with a fancy sign. That savings gets passed on to you instead of eaten up by overhead.
  • Coffee is better than a waiting room. If we do meet in person, I'd much rather do it over a good cup of coffee at a café. I'm a brunch person. Tax talk is more enjoyable with pastries.

Book a time on my calendar — especially during tax season (January through April 15). It's the most reliable way to get my full, undivided attention.

During peak season, my texts and emails can pile up fast. Your message won't get lost if it comes with a scheduled slot. After April 15th, things calm down considerably and I'm much easier to reach informally.

Trust & Credibility

The best answer? Ask the person who referred you to me. That referral is worth more than any five-star badge I could paste on a website.

I've never needed to advertise — my entire practice has been built on word of mouth. It takes longer to grow that way, but the clients it brings are loyal, and the trust runs deep. I'm grateful to be at a point in my business where I don't need to convince anyone — people reach out because they've heard good things from someone they already trust.

That's the kind of reputation I've worked hard to build, and it's the one I plan to keep.

Refund Status

Good news — you can check that yourself! (And yes, I know that's everyone's favorite question.)

If something looks off or you have questions after checking, don't hesitate to reach out.

Still have questions?

The best first step is a quick conversation. Book a call and let's talk through your situation — no pressure, no jargon.
